ISLAMABAD – The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has approved the arelease of over 12.6 billion rupees as a subsidy on power supply to industrial sector as part of Prime Minister’s Support Package announced in February last year.
Last year too, the government provided industrial support subsidy of 5.6 billion rupees.
Meanwhile, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said the government supports to industrial sector aims to boost the manufacturing activity.
It will help enhance exports of value added products. It also aims to stimulate economic activity leading to greater job opportunities in the country.
