PM Abbasi to inaugurate gas plant in Kandhkot today

KARACHI – Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will visit Kandhkot city of Sindh on Saturday (today) to inaugurate a gas plant.

After the inauguration of the plant installed by the Pakistan Petroleum, the prime minister will head towards the New Jatoi area in Naushahro Feroze to address a ceremony at the residence of federal minister Ghulam Murtaza Jatoi.

Security has been beefed up in the surrounding areas ahead of premier’s arrival.

According to sources, the premier is also expected to announce a special package for Naushahro Feroze.

The prime minister’s last stopover in Sindh was in Karachi, when he inaugurated Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) Terminal Two at Port Qasim on August 27.

Addressing the event, Abbasi said the LNG Terminal Two was established in a record 330 days.
