RISALPUR – The Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa said Pakistan is a peace-loving country and wants stability in the region. Addressing the passing out parade at PAF Academy Risalpur on Monday, he said that Pakistan will not allow anybody to misinterpret the country’s actions.
General Bajwa said the armed forces are fully capable of responding to all sorts of internal or external threats or aggression. The army chief said said if the enemy ever resorts to a misadventure, regardless of its size and scale, it will have to pay an unbearable cost
He said our national struggle against terrorism has largely been successful due to outstanding contribution of PAF.
General Bajwa said Pakistan has successfully fought terrorism and is in the process of eradicating the residual through Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.
He vowed to make Pakistan a terror free country with continuous public support.
A total of 129 aviation cadets including 5 cadets from Royal Saudi Air Force, one from Royal Jordanian Air Force and 6 Lady Cadets were graduated at the occasion.
General Qamar Javed Bajwa Chief of Army Staff was the chief guest at the occasion. On his arrival at the academy, he was received by Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal, Sohail Aman.
The chief guest awarded branch insignias to the graduating cadets and also gave away trophies to the distinction holders.
The ceremony was witnessed by high-ranking Military & Civil Officials, Diplomats, foreign dignitaries and a large number of guests of graduating cadets.
