KARACHI – The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) and Pakistan Sarzameen Party (PSP), arch rivals, have decided to work together to settle the issues of Karachi, local media claimed.
In a recent move, a war of words between both parties erupted after Karachi’s Deputy Mayor Arshad Vohra joined the PSP. Mustafa Kamal on Tuesday announced to bury the MQM forever.
Media reports suggest that Farooq Sattar will hold an important press conference today in which he would announce future course of action.
The reports add representatives of PSP will also be present at the presser but it is unclear whether Kamal will attend it or not.
In the joint press conference, both parties will shed light on the issues of Karachi and latest census.
Sattar has also called a meeting of MQM-P’s leader to take them on board in this regard.
According to Samaa news, Farooq Sattar likely to announce the merger of his party with PSP.
