MUMBAI – Former Miss India and Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla turned 50 on Monday.
Born in 1967, the Bubbly Girl went on to win the Miss India title in 1984 (awarded by the one-and-only Rekha), and since then there was no looking back for her.
In 1986 she made her Bollywood debut in Sultanat, but Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988) was her first major breakthrough in the industry. Darr (1993), Bol Radha Bol (1992) and Chandni (1989), Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke (1993) are some of her best works. Juhi won Best Actress Filmfare award for Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke in 1994.
Her positive and warm aura won a million hearts back in the late 80s and early 90s.
People from all walks of life, including her fellow stars, also wished her on her big day.
