LAHORE- Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shireen Mazari’s daughter Imaan Hazir Mazari on Saturday apologised over her poor choice of words in an anti-army video but said that she stands by her opinion.
The apology came after both mother and daughter faced social media backlash over Iman Mazari’s controversial video.
Iman Mazari, in a tweet, said, “While I deeply regret my choice of words, I stand by my opinion even today. I do believe it could have been said in a wiser, less offensive way. In a state of disturbed anger, I regretfully used words unbecoming of me, as a person and belonging to the profession I am a part of.”

“I was not raised this way & would like to express deep regret over my choice of words.I would also like to apologise to my mother. She did not deserve to be made collateral damage, esp for a view [,] she quite clearly doesn’t even share. I’m sorry to her for the pain I’ve caused her.”, Mizari added.

PTI Leader’s daughter uploaded a video on social media on Tuesday and unleashed a tirade of the allegation against the armed forces saying that there was no difference between the terrorists and Pak Army, alleging that the establishment was behind the protesters who besieged the capital city for over three weeks.
Mazari’s also took aim at the Rangers for distributing cash among the freed members of religious groups calling upon the masses to seek answers from the paramilitary troops for their dubious activities.
