GUJRAT – It is common to hear in our society that a girl eloped with a boy but it is not less than a shock to hear that a young lady reportedly abducted her female friend for marriage.
The incident took place in Mohalla Jolahi of Jalalpur Jattan city in Gujrat distict where a girl named Kiran allegedly made her friend Saman run away for the marriage.
Jalapur Jattan city police station has registered a case following a complaint lodged by the mother of the abducted girl.
According to Saman’s mother, both were very good friends and Kiran used to come their home to meet her daughter. She said that Kiran took her daughter along with her to go to the market. She added that her daughter had not come home yet.
Media reports suggest that Kiran had also printed a wedding card and gave it to Saman. After the suspicions, the mother had barred her daughter from meeting Kiran.
