ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has thrown a challenge to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif that he will start a pro-judiciary campaign against his anti-justice movement.
The PTI chief made the announcement through his Twitter handle hours after Nawaz Sharif vowed to launch the campaign to restore justice.

Khan tweeted saying, “I challenge Nawaz Sharif to start a Tehreek against judiciary as I will start one in support of our judiciary & we will see whom the people support”.
Reiterating his demand regarding early elections, Khan said: “if he [Nawaz] has the courage he should tell his puppet PM Abbasi to call early elections & let the nation make its choice”.
On Tuesday, the former prime minister once again decried his disqualification in the Panama Papers case terming it a ‘murder of justice’ which, according to him, would be taken to its logical conclusion.

In a brief interaction with newsmen on Tuesday outside the accountability court in Islamabad, the former lawmaker expressed that a sitting prime minister was ousted without giving him a benefit of doubt.
“A joke is being played with the people of Pakistan. The nation cannot tolerate this joke anymore,” he observed.
Comparing his disqualification with that of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairperson Imran Khan’s clean chit given by the top court, the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz president declared that the duality of justice was evident.
“Imaginary income was portrayed as my asset, whereas he [Imran Khan] has himself admitted his assets, yet it was declared he doesn’t own those assets,” he explained.
Urging the need for across the board justice, the former premier maintained that he would make efforts so justice is dispensed to everyone.
“Politicians require votes from the nation not clean chit from courts.” he added.
