Four terrorists killed in Balochistan: ISPR

RAWALPINDI – Frontier Cops (FC) on Friday killed four terrorists during two operations in Balochistan, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported.

The forces carried out an operation in the mountainous area of Sibbi where two terrorists were gunned down during an exchange of fire.

During another operation in Gandimgozi Kaur a remote area of Turbat, the forces killed two terrorists in a hideout. The forces also seized arms and ammunition during the operation, said ISPR in its statement.

On December 20, a terror plot to target Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai was staved off by security forces, provincial home minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti told newsmen.

Addressing a joint press conference with DIG Abdul Razzaq Cheema, the minister said that the militants were planning a terrorist attack in Qilla Abdulla but as the law enforcers sprung into action on a timely  basis, two terrorists were arrested from Gulistan area of Quetta city.
