ISLAMABAD – Intending pilgrims from Pakistan and across the world are arriving in Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj.
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, 28,000 Pakistani pilgrims have so far reached Saudi Arabia.
Nineteen thousand intending pilgrims under government scheme and nine thousand others under the private scheme have reached Makkah and Madina.
The ministry has so far dispatched a welfare staff of about five hundred people, which include 175 doctors and paramedics. They are providing medical facilities to the intending pilgrims at Jeddah airport, Makkah, and Madina.
Moreover, the office of Hajj Affairs of Pakistan is busy in providing various facilities, including accommodation and travel, to the intending pilgrims in Jeddah, Makkah, and Madina.
This year 184,210 intending pilgrims from Pakistan is performing Hajj.
