Three men get 10-year jail term for raping mentally challenged woman

BADIN, Sindh - Three people were on Friday sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment each for the gang-rape a mentally challenged woman in the village of Muhammad Yusaf Khoso near Badin.

The convicts Ali Nawaz Mallah, Abdul Wahid Mallah and Muhammad Soomar Mallah received the sentence in the court of the second additional district and sessions judge Badin Abdul Wahab Tunio.

On September 2017, the victim girl had gone to collect fodder for livestock in her village when they had gang-raped.

After the verdict was read out, all three convicts were sent to Central Jail Hyderabad to serve their sentences.
