Shehbaz turns down request to meet Indian High Commissioner

LAHORE -  Chief Minister of Punjab  Shehbaz Sharif has turned down Indian High Commissioner Ajay Bisaria's request for a meeting.

As per media reports, after the refusal of CM Punjab, Ajay Bisaria has cancelled his three-day visit to Lahore.

Shehbaz Sharif turned down the official request for meeting citing the use of brutal force and state-terrorism against unarmed Kashmiris in Indian-held Kashmir.

The Indian High Commissioner was all set to meet traders and journalists during his three-day visit.

It is pertinent here to mention that occupied forces have martyred over 30 Kashmiris in a fresh wave of state-terrorism as Modi-led Delhi government aims at suppressing the indigenous freedom movement by use of unchecked and brutal force. The situation in occupied-Kashmir has been out-of-control since Burhan Wani’s extra-judicial killing which led to widespread protests in the valley.
