I did not ask Reham Khan to suspend twitter account, says Imran Khan

LAHORE (Staff Report) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday dismissed the media reports which suggested that cricketer turned politician had asked his wife Reham Khan Twitter account.

“I did not ask Reham Khan to suspend twitter account, she took it down herself,” he said in an interview.

Khan further added that he gets very disturbed when Pakistani media attempts to mock my wife. She is a politically aware woman who discusses issues with me and even disagrees with me at times, he said.

When asked about his divorce with Reham Khan, the PTI chief said the all news stories in this regard were completely false and baseless.

Earlier media reports claimed that Mr Khan had ‘ordered’ his wife to shut her Twitter account down, responding to her sudden absence from micro-blogging website. Mrs Khan returned to Twitter after her weeks long absence.
