NEW DELHI (News Desk) – Indian police is looking for two army personnel who allegedly gang raped a 14-year-old girl who was rescued from Howrah-Amritsar Express near Jharkhand station.
According to Indian media, police has arrested one of the accomplices named Manjrish Tripathi while the prime suspects are still on the run.
“Tripathi was also with the culprits however he did not rape me but he forced me to drink liquor after which the duo raped me,” the survivor said in a statement with police.
Authorities say that suspects have been identified by the girl through CCTV footage and will be arrested soon.
