CPEC to benefit entire Middle East countries: IR Expert
ISLAMABAD - International Relations Expert Dr Manzoor Khan Afridi has said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is going to benefit the entire Middle East.

Talking to the Associated Press of Pakistan, he said unemployment would be reduced after the creation of many job opportunities through the mega project.

He said CPEC would bring an economic revolution in the region. He added that the security of the project was Pakistan’s national undertaking and the country would not leave any stone unturned in ensuring its timely completion and uninterrupted success.

Replying to a question, he said, "The Pakistan Army has taken the responsibility of security of this project and is always ready to cope with any challenges in this regard."

US dollar was being quoted at 277.4 for buying and 280.35 for selling.

Euro stands at 297 for buying and 299.5 for selling while British Pound rate is 348.5 for buying, and 352 for selling.

UAE Dirham AED was at 75.25 and Saudi Riyal came down to 73.50.
