Third Test Day-2: England resume game from 4-0
SHARJAH (Staff Report) – England on Monday resumed the final Test game against Pakistan from 4-0 at Sharjah cricket stadium.

Openers Moeen Ali and Alastair Cook are present at the crease.

Earlier Pakistan collapsed at 234 runs on the first day.

Skipper Misbah-ul-Haq remained prominent batsman by scoring 71 runs. Six Pakistani batsmen failed to enter double figure scores.

England’s Anderson picked four wickets.

Earlier Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq won the toss and decided to bat first.

Pakistan, 1-0 up after winning the second Test in Dubai by 178 runs, brought in batsman Azhar Ali and paceman Rahat Ali, replacing opener Shan Masood and injured fast bowler Imran Khan.

England decided to play with three spinners after seamer Mark Wood (rested with an ankle problem) and Jos Butler were dropped, including left-arm spinner Samit Patel and James Taylor.

Taylor and Patel are playing their first Test in three years.

The first Test ended in a draw in Abu Dhabi.

On Sunday, the US dollar was being quoted at 277.5 for buying and 280.5 for selling.

Euro was quoted at 299.95 for buying and 302.9 for selling while British Pound stands at 349.5 for buying, and 353 for selling.

UAE Dirham AED was at 75.45 and Saudi Riyal's new rates was at 73.30.
