ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has urged World Trade Organization to support Pakistan in its efforts to increase exports.
Talking to Director General WTO Roberto Azevedo in Islamabad, he said Pakistan eyes 150 billion dollars exports by 2025 under Vision-2025. He said WTO’s support can be instrumental to realize this goal.
Ahsan Iqbal said policies of the incumbent government have put the national economy on path to progress, which has also been acknowledged by international financial institutions.
