In the first match of the series, played in Edinburgh, Scotland batted first and scored 154 runs for 9 wickets in the allotted overs.
Opener George Munsey scored 28 runs, and Matthew Cross added 27 runs.
For Australia, Sean Abbott took 3 wickets, while Xavier Bartlett and Adam Zampa claimed 2 wickets each.

Travis Head was dismissed after scoring 80 runs off 25 balls. He also made the fastest fifty for Australia in T20 Internationals, reaching the milestone in just 17 balls.
