QUETTA – A landmine explosion in Kahan tehsil of Kohlu district in Balochistan left a Frontier Corps (FC) soldier martyred while two others sustained injuries on Wednesday.
The fallen soldier was identified as Sepoy Wahid and the injured as Sepoy Spin Badshah and civilian Wazir Khan.
According to Levies officials, the incident occurred near Bahadur checkpost when the personnel were searching the area after receiving information about planted landmines.
Security personnel rushed to the site and shifted the bodies and injured to the hospital; the area was cordoned off and an investigation is underway.
