Case filed against Karan Johar, Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul for sexist comments

JODHPUR – It seems like the trouble over Koffee with Karan is not going to get over any time soon for Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul. After they were relieved of the suspension from the BCCI over their comments on the show, now a case has been registered against the duo and the host of the show and filmmaker Karan Johar in Jodhpur.

Pandya and Rahul faced a lot of backlash on social media for the comments made by them on the chat show, which is famous for sparking controversy. Following the backlash, BCCI had suspended the duo.

Since then, Pandya has been playing for Team India in New Zealand while Rahul joined India A team for matches against England Lions. And although it seemed like the trouble for the duo would fade away, a case against has been registered against them.

Right after their suspensions were lifted, former India captain Mohammed Azharuddin has stated that Pandya and Rahul’s on-field performances should speak for them.

Pandya’s mentor Kiran More shard that the player was quite disturbed with the controversy but now his focus was back on cricket. “He is a very talented cricketer, no doubt about it. He had no bad intentions at all. The chat show incident happened. That’s what shows the character of the cricketer. He is a cricketer who works very hard and gives his 100% whenever he plays for his teams. Happy he has made a huge comeback.”

More added, “He was very disturbed during the Koffee with Karan row. Good, he has made a huge impact straight away. Now, he is clear about his cricket. His focus is on cricket and he showed how much he wants to play for India in New Zealand.”

The mentor went on to state that the suspension for was like getting dropped from the India team for him. It was like he was trying to make a comeback. He and Rahul, both of them have realized they made mistakes. He is mentally so strong and it has shown with the way he has made the comeback.”
