KARACHI (Web Desk) – Pakistan’s tennis star Aisam Ul Haq has made his way to the US Open doubles quarter-finals with his partner Robert Lindstedt after overpowering Jean-Julien Rojer and Horia Tecau in two sets on Monday.
The 36-year-old along with his partner took the first set 6-3 in 44 minutes. However, Rojer, who was Aisam’s former double’s partner along with his partner and 2012 Wimbledon finalist Tecau, hit back in the second set.

The Curaçao Romanian pair led the set on their service game, while Aisam and Lindstedt chased them well to 6-6, pushing to a tie-break, where they eventually secured the win after, Express Tribune reported.
Aisam and Lindstedt will face top seed French pair Pierre Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut in the quarter-final.
