LAHORE – Veteran journalist Arif Nizami has claimed that Imran Khan’s second wife Reham Khan was a violent lady who used to beat her former husband Dr Ijaz Rehman, and Imran’s case was no different.
“Reham Khan is a violent lady. She used to beat her former husband and once his arm was also injured as Reham hurled a plate at him,” disclosed Arif Nizami.
The journalist maintained that the situation was the same when it came to her relationship with Imran Khan.
“Imran felt scared of Reham and that’s why he divorced her when she was in London,” claimed Arif Nizami.
The television anchor further elaborated that Imran Khan used to say that his life was like the American slasher film ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’.

Pertaining to a question regarding Reham Khan’s diatribe against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and especially inclusion of ladies in Imran Khan-led party, the journalist stated that it was out of frustration that Reham was attacking the party and showing suspicions over character of women taking part in politics .
It may be mentioned here that Imran Khan’s second wife Reham accused the party of lacking true democracy and not allowing participation of women.
“If your party had any fear of God, girls from respectable families would have been a part of your party,” Reham enunciated.
Following Reham’s tirade, scores of PTI women uploaded videos and termed Reham’s views as a misogynistic rant.
“She is a woman herself. She should apologize for her remarks,” said one of the women.
