Pakistan Rallies In Support Of Palestinians On Solidarity Day

ISLAMABAD – Pakistani government and people are observing Palestinian Solidarity Day to express support for Muslims facing severe brutality from Israeli forces.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to host the All Parties Conference in the capital city aimed at uniting voices against the ongoing oppression of unarmed Palestinians in Gaza.

Nationwide rallies and seminars are taking place in both small towns and major cities, highlighting atrocities committed by Israeli forces. PM Sharif reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to providing moral, diplomatic, and political support to Palestinians enduring relentless aggression.

In his message for Solidarity Day, Prime Minister emphasised that the government will continue to stand with the Palestinian people until they achieve an independent state, with East Jerusalem as its capital. He further pointed out that the entire nation is joining in solidarity with their Palestinian brothers and sisters, marking one year since a new wave of Israeli violence started.

Prime Minister also lamented Tel Aviv for disregarding international powers, institutions, and resolutions from the Security Council and the International Court of Justice. As Asian nation comes together to support Palestinian cause, the focus remains on raising awareness and advocating for justice and peace.

In last year, over 41,870 Palestinians were martyred while nearly one lac wounded and tens of thousands were displaced.
