TEHRAN (News Desk) – Further severing its ties with Riyadh, Tehran has imposed a ban on import of all kinds of products from Saudi Arabia and the travel of its citizens to Makkah for Hajj or Umrah.
According to a statement issued by a top level meeting chaired by President Hassan Rouhani, the cabinet has reaffirmed a ban on travel of its citizens to Saudi Arabia including pilgrimage.
The government has instructed all importers to stop bringing in Saudi products. The order also prohibits entry of any other goods through Saudi Arabia.
The ban will remain enforced til any further orders in this regard.
