National youth conference on Confronting Violent Extremism on Campuses begins

ISLAMABAD – A two-day national youth conference on ‘Confronting Violent Extremism on Campuses’ started here on Wednesday.

It is being organised by the National Counter Terrorism Authority in collaboration with Code Pakistan.

Purpose of the conference is to engage students and faculty of premier universities and religious seminaries.

Male and female students from universities from all four provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan attended the conference.

Opening the conference, National Coordinator NACTA Dr Muhammad Suleman Khan talking to private news channel said the Authority is collaborating with Law Enforcement Agencies across the country to counter the forces of extremism and violence.
