ISLAMABAD (Online) – An anti-corruption court in Karachi has issued a non-bailable arrest warrants for former federal minister Makhdoom Amin Fahim in Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) corruption case.
The judge Monday ordered the authorities to apprehend former leader and present him before the court on October 22.
Meanwhile, the apex court awarded bail to former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and announced to hold hearing over his exemption plea from appearing in court on the same date.
Both the PPP leaders, Yousuf Raza Gilani and Makhdoom Amin Fahim, along with certain former and serving officials of TDAP were booked for their alleged involvement in expenditure of false trade subsidies amounting to billions of rupees.

The former premier has been granted bail in as many as 11 corruption cases over bail bond worth Rs0.1 million in each case.
Talking to media after the Monday hearing, Gilani stated that he was seeking justice from the judiciary. He said the PPP faced defeat did not quit politics. The ex-PM suggested PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to monitor party’s performance and to come to Parliament for legislation.
Gilani further felicitated winning candidates Ayaz Sadiq, Shoaib Siddiqui and Riaz-ul-Haq and termed recent by-elections being held in Lahore and Okara as positive and transparent.
