Indian Politician Baba Siddique Killed In Assassination Attack In Mumbai

Prominent Indian politician and former Maharashtra minister, Baba Siddique, was tragically killed in an assassination attack in Mumbai.

According to Indian media reports, unidentified assailants opened fire on Baba Siddique near his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office in the Bandra area, close to Ram Mandir. He was critically injured and rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries. He sustained three gunshot wounds.

Following the attack, two suspects were taken into custody, one from Uttar Pradesh and the other from Haryana, while another suspect remains at large.

The news of the assassination prompted actor Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt to rush to the hospital. Baba Siddique was a member of the Nationalist Congress Party and had played a significant role in mending relations between Bollywood superstars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.

The tragic loss of Baba Siddique has sent shockwaves through both the political and entertainment circles in India.
