ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif says investment-friendly policies have been formulated to attract foreign investment in the country.
He was talking to a delegation of Chinese companies, Gezhouba, in Islamabad on Friday. The delegation was led by Chief Financial Officer Lin Xiaodong.
The prime minister said the government was taking steps to overcome energy shortage.
He said exemplary friendship between China and Pakistan will further be strengthened with economic cooperation between the two countries.
The Chinese company showed keen interest in investment in Neelum-Jhelum hydel project.
It also expressed interest in investment in energy projects based on coal, LNG and solar energy.
