Nisar, Walton meeting: Breakthrough in Imran Farooq murder case soon

LONDON (Web Desk) – United Kingdom’s counter-terrorism department chief Richard Walton reached back to London late on Tuesday after meeting with Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan in Islamabad, local media reported.

Sources had earlier said, “An important figure from UK has met with Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan. Development taking place in the murder case of Imran Farooq was discussed during the meeting.”

A significant development is expected to take place in the murder case of former Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Imran Farooq within next 48 hours.

Farooq, 50, a founding member of the MQM, was stabbed and beaten to death in Edgware, northwest London, as he returned home from work on September 16, 2010.
