Rangers arrest 145 including 15 MQM activists

KARACHI (Staff Report) – Sindh Rangers on Thursday arrested as many as 145 suspected criminals including 15workers of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) during multiple raids in different areas in Karachi.

The raids were carried out Nazim Abad, North Nazim Abad, Lines and Shah Faisal Colony areas of the port city, said Rangers spokesperson.

A unit in-charge is also among those held during the raid in Lines area, according to reliable sources.

The paramilitary force has shifted all of the workers to unknown place.

However, it is yet to be ascertained whether any on these people is involved in any criminal activity or not.

The raids are carried out in the city following a deadly gun attack on a bus that left 46 people dead including 16 women on Wednesday.
