ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) -Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said no one would be allowed to sabotage economic turnaround of Pakistan.
Talking to media in Islamabad on Monday, he said Pakistan was once declared as a sick man of the South Asia, but due to prudent polices of the government, the country is on upward trajectory in all sectors.
He said the world institutions are now recognizing Pakistan’s economic progress. He said foreign exchange reserves have reached to 20 billion dollars.
The Minister said all out efforts are being made to overcome energy crisis in the country and it is hoped that we will be successful in producing more than ten thousand megawatt of electricity by 2018.
He said law and order situation has greatly improved in the country.
He said today’s Karachi is far better than it was in few years ago.
Ahsan Iqbal said situation in Balochistan has also improved. He said backbone of terrorists has been broken and now they are on the run.
