Gold rates hit a new record high in Pakistan

KARACHI – Gold rates in domestic market of Pakistan surged to a new record high after witnessed further gains on Saturday, the last of the business week.

Data shared by All Gems and Jewellers Association showed per tola gold price increased by Rs400 to settle at Rs266,300.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram moved up by Rs343 to reach all-time high of Rs228,308.

The precious commodity also extended gains in the international market as per ounce price increased by $11 to reach $2,577.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable in Pakistan as per tola price stood at Rs2,950 while per 10-gram is available for Rs2,529.14 without any change.

A day earlier, the per tola price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs2,900 and was sold at Rs265,900 on Friday. The price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs2,486 to Rs227,966.
