Federal Cabinet Meeting On Constitutional Reforms Delayed

ISLAMABAD – The Federal Cabinet on Sunday rescheduled its meeting to 3:00 pm today to discuss a proposed package of constitutional amendments, shifting from the initially planned time of 11:00 am.

The huddled spearheaded led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will discuss the nation’s political and economic status and the upcoming constitutional changes.

Reports claimed that Azam Nazir Tarar, Mohsin Naqvi and other government officials will present updates on their recent discussions with Maulana Fazlur Rehman, including his demands.

The cabinet is expected to review and approve the draft amendments during this meeting. After cabinet approval, the proposed constitutional changes will be submitted to Parliament. The move comes amid efforts by both the government and opposition to gain support for the amendments from key political figure.
