SWAT – A distressing accident occurred in Lower Dir when the cable of a chairlift broke, causing four individuals to fall into the Panjkora River. The incident took place near the Shringal University, where the chairlift was operating over the river.
According to Rescue 1122, the victims, including two children, were rescued from the river and were subsequently transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. The condition of the injured individuals has not been fully disclosed, and their identities have not yet been released.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the cable failure and the circumstances surrounding the accident. Emergency services were promptly on the scene, and efforts are underway to provide necessary support and care to the affected individuals.
