ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Friday directed the Ministry of Water and Power to ensure uninterrupted power supply during the 2017 Champions Trophy final scheduled to take place between Pakistan and India on Sunday.
The directives were issued as Pakistani fans are anxiously waiting for the high-octane clash between traditional rivals clashing for the second time during the same tournament.
Earlier, on Thursday, India overpowered Bangladesh to reach the final of Champions Trophy. On the other hand, Pakistan qualified for final by outshining England in a nail-biting contest.
This is the first time that Pakistan will be playing the final of Champions Trophy and cricket fans are expecting an exciting encounter with India at the historic Oval.
