ISLAMABAD – A scuffle over security checking was witnessed Saturday between Saudi army officer and official of Airport Security Force (ASF) at Islamabad Airport.
The Online news agency reported that the Saudi officer lost his temper and started abusing the ASF official when he was stopped for security check up. The exchange of abuses led to scuffle and other security officials reached to mediate between the both.
The ASF official reportedly insisted that Immigration and other officials should not let the Saudi army officer pass without security checking. Later, the matter reached Saudi Embassy in Pakistan and efforts were made to settle down the issue.
Meanwhile, the high ups taking notice of official’s misbehavior with Saudi army officer have suspended his service.
Despite repeated efforts, the ASF and Saudi Embassy could not be available for comments.
