ISLAMABAD – UK’s Home Secretary Sajid Javid called on Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Monday to discussed issues of mutual interest.
Foreign Minister Qureshi emphasized on the need to transform the historic ties between Pakistan and United Kingdom into a strategic partnership.

The two also exchanged views on regional security, counter-terrorism, return of Pakistani assets and money laundering.
Sajid Javid expressed the desire of the British government to strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.

Earlier, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi visited Kabul where he met Afghan President Ashraf Ghani.
