JHELUM (Web Desk) – Five people including four women of a same family were killed when their car fell into canal near Sarai Alamgir on night between Sunday and Monday, local media reported on Monday.
According to details, the ill-fated family from Bhimber, Azad Kashmir was going to village Bouli near Sarai Alamgir to attend funeral of a relative. Their car fell into Upper Jhelum Canal near village Qasba due to bad weather and over-speeding, killing all the five people.
A police official however told media that they were trying to ascertain the names and full identity the victims.
Rescue teams reached the spot and recovered the bodies from canal and handed them over to their heirs.
