PISHIN – Security forces of Pakistan successfully executed an intelligence-based operation in District Pishin, apprehending five Khwarij militants, the military’s media wing said.
The operation conducted on reports of militants’ presence resulted in the seizure of a large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives, including three suicide vests.
The captured militants are believed to have been involved in multiple terrorist attacks and were plotting further assaults on both security forces and innocent civilians.
In a separate development in District Zhob of Balochistan, security forces confronted armed Khwarij in a firefight that resulted in the death of two militants. After clash, extensive sanitization of the area led to the recovery of additional weapons and ammunition.
These operations underscore Pakistan’s commitment to eradicating terrorism and ensuring the safety of its citizens. Security forces remain vigilant in their efforts to disrupt terrorist activities and protect communities from this persistent threat.
