KARACHI – Gold continued its record-breaking spree in domestic market of Pakistan amid rising global prices on Saturday.
Data shared by All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association showed per tola gold price moved up by Rs900, taking the price to all-time high of Rs281,800.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold also rallied to historic high of Rs241,598 after witnessing gains of Rs772.
The precious commodity also gained $9 in the international market where per ounce gold was traded at $2,721.
Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan also increased by Rs50 per tola nad Rs42.87 per 10 gram with new prices settling at Rs3,150 and Rs2,700.62, respectively.
A day earlier, per tola gold price moved up by Rs700 to surge to Rs277,900. Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs600 to settle at Rs238,254.
