PESHAWAR – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA and senior leader Sher Afzal Marwat has been hospitalised after contracting the coronavirus.
In a message on the social media platform X, Sher Afzal Marwat stated, “After falling ill, initial tests revealed that I have been affected by COVID-19.”
He wrote, “My temperature is very high, and I am experiencing body aches, so I have been admitted to the hospital.”
Requesting prayers, Sher Afzal Marwat said in his statement, “Please pray for a quick recovery. The doctors say that the COVID-19 pandemic is now less severe.”
It is noteworthy that Sher Afzal was recently arrested after attending a rally in Islamabad, but he was later released on bail.
