Farooq Sattar led MQM to show muscles in Karachi

KARACHI – The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan chapter led by Farooq Sattar will stage a power show in metropolis on December 30.

Farooq while talking to newsmen made the announcement while addressing a massive public gathering at Nishtar Park.

‘A historical and unprecedented public gathering will be held on 30th of this month at Nishtar Park, where all the perceptions would be shunned. We will send a message to all Pakistan that Karachi was and will remain bastion of MQM’ he said.

MQM-P leader said the party was going to commence a decisive struggle to fight the case of Karachi.

The legislator said MQM is the biggest party of urban areas of Sindh adding that the consensus was not held intentionally since 1998 in a bid to depict our population less to consequently restrict our political representation.

Dr Farooq also announced the launch of a campaign in the near future to collect funds for political and welfare purposes.

MQM split into two factions after August 22 when its leader Altaf Hussain delivered an anti-Pakistan diatribe urging his supporters to attack different television channels.

Ever since, MQM Pakistan and MQM London are maintaining frayed relations with one trying to show its supremacy over the other.
