RAWALPINDI (Staff Report) – Ayyan Ali’s money laundering row has taken a surprising turn as another accused Awais, who had reportedly bought property from the supermodel, approached Lahore High Court seeking a pre-arrest bail on Wednesday.
Awais pleaded to the court that he had no prior connection with Ayyan Ali and didn’t aware of money laundering case until the police contacted him for investigation.

He argued that he had only purchased some property from the supermodel according to laws of the state.
LHC issued notices to the concerned parties while granting him an interim bail till the next hearing.
The case was adjourned till May 26.

Earlier Ayyan Ali was arrested by the customs officials at Benazir Bhutto International Airport while attempting to smuggle $500,000 to Dubai.
