PSL4: Punjab governor assures PCB chief of foolproof security to foreign cricketers

LAHORE – Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said the Punjab government would provide foolproof security to the visiting foreign cricketers during the Pakistan Super League (PSL 4) matches in Lahore.

During a meeting with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ehsan Mani who called on Punjab Governor Ch Sarwar at the Governor’s House here, Governor Punjab Muhammad Sarwar said the restoration of cricket in the country was sure due to the PSL. He said the government would provide the fullest support to the PCB for the restoration of cricket in the country.

He said new talent had been discovered in the country, adding that the days were not far when Pakistan would lead the international cricket scene. He said the government, under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, was committed to encourage sportsmen in the country.

Ch Sarwar said the government would utilise all resources to restore sporting activities in the playgrounds of the country.
