President Mamnoon confers 46 military, 50 civil awards on notable personalities
ISLAMABAD - President Mamnoon Hussain conferred 46 military and 50 civil awards on various personalities from different walks of life for their meritorious services in different fields on the occasion of Pakistan Day (Thursday).

The President decorated 50 Pakistan Civil Awards, including 10 Foreign Nationals and Pakistanis living abroad, at a simple but impressive Investiture Ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad

The awards in military categories included thirty-six Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military) and ten Sitara-i-Basalat (Military).

The Awards in Civil categories included Hilal-i-Shujaat (1), Hilal-i-Imtiaz (3), Sitara-i-Pakistan (1), Sitara-i-Shujaat (1), Sitara-i-Imtiaz (9), President’s Award for Pride of Performance (6), Tamgha-i-Pakistan (1), Tamgha-i-Shujaat (16), Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (11) and Tamgha-i-Khidmat (1).

The recipients of national awards also included eleven foreign nationals from Norway, Turkey, Italy, China, UK, Canada and Sri Lanka.

The ceremony was attended by ministers, parliamentarians, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Zubair Mehmood Hayat, Services Chiefs, diplomats, high civil and military officials, and people belonging to different walks of life.

Nearly two dozen recipients were awarded in Lahore; nine in Karachi; eight in Peshawar; five in Quetta, and two in Gilgit. The ceremonies were held in four provincial capitals at the respective Governor Houses, and the G-B capital city.

Similarly, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee decorated 33 recipients of the awards at Joint Staff Headquarters, while six foreign nationals and one Pakistani citizen were awarded by the heads of the Pakistani missions in the respective countries.

Today's gold rates in Pakistan – 21 March 2023

KARACHI - The price of a single tola of 24-karat gold in Pakistan is Rs 204,700 on Tuesday.The price of 10 grams of 24k gold was recorded at Rs175,500.  

Likewise, 10 grams of 22k gold were being traded for Rs163,624 while a single tola of 22-karat gold was being sold at Rs 190,849.  

Note: The gold rate in Pakistan is fluctuating according to the international market so the price is never been fixed. The below rates are provided by local gold markets and Sarafa Markets of different cities.
