NEW DELHI (Web Desk) – Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) wrote a letter to the government to seek its permission to play the much talked Pak-India cricket series in Sri Lanka, Indian media reported.
According to Indian media reports, the BCCI has written a letter to the government in which it sought its permission to hold the cricket series on neutral venue in Sri Lanka, Daily Capital cited.
Earlier, chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Shahryar Khan also wrote a letter to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif about the Pak-India cricket series.
PCB Chairman in his letter, informed the prime minister about the negotiations held during the recent past between the two boards.
Earlier, deadlock over a proposed series between arch-rivals India and Pakistan has ended up as the both countries are likely to play cricket series in neutral venue Sri Lanka from December 20 to January 3.
