LAHORE/KUANTAN – Pakistan beat Japan in the 10th match of Fourth Asian Hockey Championship in Malaysian city of Kuantan on Tuesday.
After being defeated by India, team Pakistan was in a critical do or die situation in their fourth match against Japan.
Match was briefly stopped due to rain and had resumed at 8:20 (Malaysia Time).

Six teams from Pakistan, India, Malaysia, South Korea, China and Japan are taking part in the event.
Pakistan lost their matches against host Malaysia by 4-2 and India by 3-2 while won against Korea by 1-0.
Pakistan has won the champions trophy more than any other participating team. The green team defeated its traditional rival India by 5-4 in the final of 2012.
