KARACHI (Web Desk) – Dozens of huts were gutted when a fire broke out in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal area on Thursday. Thankfully, no loss of life was reported with the firefighting squad finally taking control of the situation.
The local people and rescue workers helped the residents move from the huts to safer locations. Many of the affectees complained that the firefighters arrived very late at the site due to which all of their belongings were burnt down.
The reason for this tragic occurrence has not been determined yet.
