PM Nawaz chairs meeting to review on going security situation,NAP

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) - Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday chaired a high-level meeting to review the progress on Operation Zarb-e-Azb here at the PM House.

The meeting was attended by Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar, Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Chief of Army General Raheel Sharif, DG ISI Lt General Rizwan Akhtar along with other senior civil and military officials.

The meeting reviewed progress on operation Zarb-e-Azb aimed at eliminating extremists and terrorists and discussed matters relating to the return of the Temporarily Displaced Persons.

The meeting also reviewed progress on the National Action Plan and discussed measures for its more effective implementation.
