PESHAWAR – Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser Sunday paid gloving tribute to the sacrifices being rendered by the tribesmen during the 30-year war against terror and stood firmly against any aggressors as trustful custodians of the motherland.
This he said while addressing a big public meeting in connection with the joining of scores of people into Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf in Khadokhail Tutalay, District Buner. Speaker NA Asad Qasier assured the people that their genuine rights would be protected and steps have been taken for the welfare of the people to bring the area at par with other cities and areas of the country.
He said that the govt has taken scores of projects in order to provide much-needed relief to the people who suffered badly due to insurgency and militancy.
He also announced the construction of a road from Swabi to Dandara besides providing sui gas facilities to the people of Khadokhail. A multi-purpose sports complex would also be constructed so that the youth could come and actively participate in healthy sports activities.
He said the govt is trying hard to re-track the economic condition of the country to make Pakistan economically a stable. He said the govt has been paying Rs. 17 billion only to PIA for salaries and want to bring PIA back as a financially sound organization.
He said PESCO is facing almost Rs. 46 billion deficits and assured that PTI has taken steps to bring these organizations economically sound so that they could come up and play their due role in the national development.
He assured that Prime Minister Imran Khan would fulfil all promises he made during the electioneering campaign. He said all resources would be utilized to make Pakistan a prosperous country of the world. Speaking National Assembly Asad Qaiser said that tribal people have been rendering matchless sacrifices in war on terror for the security of the country.
“We also know that the tribal people are always ready for any sacrifice for Pakistan by recalling tribal people’s previous fighting in Kashmir against India soon after the 1947 partition and expressed the hope that the tribal people will again defend motherland in the front-line with Pakistan Army,” Asad Qaiser said.
Asad Qaiser paid glowing tribute to various tribesmen for their matchless sacrifices for the defence of the motherland in hours of trials and tribulations and vowed to bring them in the mainstream of national development through radical reforms introduced in the merged tribal areas.
He said that tribal people always came out in support of their brave army whenever they were challenged by the enemy. They are the custodian of the frontier of the country and demonstrated the same spirit and determination since the inception of the country in 1947. He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan always pursue the path of peace and harmony in the region.
Earlier, Asad Qaiser warmly welcome all those joined the party and assured them that they would be provided places according to their worth those including Haji Saddique, Rafiq Khan, Kamal, Muhammad Nazir, Saeed, Qaiyas, Sharif, Qamar Zaman, Ismail, Dr Bilal, Iftikhar, Jamal, Niaz, Sohail, Afzal Sher, Engr. Shafique, Haroon Khan and Nasir Iqbal who joined PTI along with their relatives and supporters after tendering resignation from different political parties.
